Earlier this year, Frankston City Council sought expressions of interest from community partners to participate in their Pop Up Playgroup program. The interactive sessions are held outdoors in local playgrounds, and are free for families to attend. With music, crafts, story time and a host of other fun activities during the sessions, there’s no doubt they’re a hit with local youngsters!
To create meaningful connections with local families and share information about our services, Family Life’s Family Relationship Centre (FRC) team has been attending a Pop Up Playgroup once a month since March. Alongside Maternal Child Health and Frankston Library during National Playgroup Week, we have provided information to approximately 40 families.
