With the escalation of COVID-19 Family Life has been assessing and responding to Government announcements and restrictions and have adjusted our service delivery accordingly.
Service Delivery
With the recent escalation of the global pandemic, and in response to Government guidelines, Family Life has made the difficult decision to suspend face-to-face support at this time. We are committed to keeping families safe and maintaining high quality care for our community at this crucial time. As a result, we are adapting our service delivery to provide phone and web-based support.
Volunteer Participation
In response to restrictions around social isolation, and to protect our much-valued volunteers, the decision has been made to suspend any volunteering until further notice. We will continue to work with our volunteers to identify any opportunities that can be undertaken remotely during this period.
Suspension of Social Enterprise Sites
All Opportunity Shops have been closed indefinitely. We are currently exploring how we can enhance our on-line presence and utilise the existing skills and expertise of our valued social enterprise staff in a remote working environment.
Working Remotely
To help protect the health of our staff and to ensure business continuity, Family Life staff are working remotely for an indefinite period. We have tested our systems so that our clients, stakeholders, members and partners will still be able to contact us and engage in services. All our phones and emails are operational, and as far as possible staff are working their normal hours, so please contact us as you normally would.
We look forward to continuing to work with all our stakeholders for the benefit of children and families throughout our community.
