Ensuring Young Voices are Heard

By Zoe Hopper March 1, 2021

Family Life’s Research, Outcome Measures and Evaluation (ROME) team is always on the lookout for new and innovative ways to capture the voices of our clients in relation to their experiences of the services our organisation provides.

In line with this, we have recently been awarded a Learning Systems Grant through the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare to engage children and young people in consultation about the best ways to obtain their feedback on their service experiences.

Over the next 10 months we will be working with the Australian Childhood Foundation to consult with children and young people to develop user friendly tools to track their service experience. We will be reviewing information about the barriers and opportunities that impact children and young people to provide feedback.

Family Life will then design appropriate tools and explore options for utilising digital technology that speaks the language of our younger clients.

Stay tuned for further information including opportunities for children and young people to participate in this exciting project.
