This year Family Life will commemorate 50 years of ‘transforming lives for stronger communities’.
Our organisation was formed 50 years ago as a result of concerned community members, seeking to put families first and creating a community around those in need. Something that we still do to this day.
Family Life works with families experiencing problems like violence, addiction, separation and trauma. Where Family Life is different, and where we make the most impact, is that we look beyond the problem and make family and community our focus.
From a small group of concerned citizens in 1970, to approximately 150 staff and 300 volunteers at present. What an amazing achievement!
