Here4U: Empowering Communities To Act
Here4U is a social change program developed by Family Life to educate and empower individuals in schools and communities to recognise family violence and take action to prevent it. This program helps participants understand how to safely intervene and provide support to those affected. It also promotes gender equality and community inclusion with the aim of reducing family violence in our communities.
Why is Here4U Needed? Domestic violence can occur in many forms and affect people from all walks of life. The consequences of domestic abuse are long-lasting and can affect every part of life, from mental health to social relationships.
By raising awareness and fostering safe, supportive environments, we can challenge harmful behaviours and prevent violence from continuing in our communities.
