Vale Graeme Disney OAM

By Sophie Noonan July 26, 2023

It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge and celebrate the generous friendship of our cherished supporter and Patron, Graeme Disney OAM.  Graeme leaves an extraordinary legacy of love, care and kindness which he so generously shared with Family Life and many other community organisations in Bayside.

Graeme started his journey with Family Life in 1968, involved in the earliest meetings of concerned community members proposing to create an organisation to support vulnerable local families. His generous support has been a mainstay of the organisation throughout our 53 year history, with Graeme becoming a Family Life patron in 2003. His support and enthusiasm for our work in supporting local community has been unwavering.

A warm and humble man of wisdom and kindness, Graeme will be sorely missed by all at Family Life and remembered with much fondness, admiration and respect. Our thoughts and condolences to Dorothy and the Disney family.

Graeme’s legacy will stay with Family Life forever through the work that we continue to do.

We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to record a podcast with Graeme in 2020 to mark our 50 year birthday:
