Family Life's Submission to the Second Action Plan Consultation
Over the past 18 months, we have taken important steps on our reconciliation journey through the delivery of our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
Our focus has been on building meaningful relationships, increasing cultural understanding, and creating opportunities for respectful engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
While we are proud of the progress we have made, we recognise that reconciliation is an ongoing journey and that there is still much more to learn.
Throughout our Reflect RAP, we have sought opportunities for our people to learn directly from First Nations voices and perspectives. By listening, learning and engaging with community leaders and organisations, we have deepened our understanding of the histories, cultures and experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We greatly value the expertise, knowledge and lived experience shared with us, which continue to guide our approach to reconciliation.
As we prepare to develop our second RAP, we invite you to explore the summary document below, which highlights our journey to date, key achievements, and the foundations we have built for the next stage of our reconciliation commitment.
