Family Life's Men's Behaviour Change Program Becomes Engage4Change

Family Life is pleased to announce that our Men’s Behaviour Change Program (MBCP) has a new name: Engage4Change.

The new name reflects the evolving nature of the work our practitioners do to support individuals who use family violence. While accountability and behaviour change remain at the heart of the program,

Engage4Change better captures the broader approach taken to help participants understand their behaviours, build healthier relationships, and create safer outcomes for families.

The name Engage4Change highlights the importance of meaningful engagement as the foundation for lasting change. It also recognises that violence prevention requires more than simply addressing specific behaviours. It involves supporting participants to develop insight, responsibility, emotional regulation, and respectful ways of relating to others.

Although the name has changed, the program’s purpose remains the same: helping people who use violence take responsibility for their actions and make positive, sustainable changes that contribute to safer homes and stronger communities.
