Welcome Christine and Sarah, our newest Board Members!

We’re pleased to welcome two new Directors to the Family Life Board, Sarah Green and Christine Barca, who joined at the most recent Board Meeting. Together, they bring a strong mix of leadership, community insight and professional expertise that will support our ongoing work to strengthen families and communities.

We look forward to the experience and perspective both Sarah and Christine will bring as we continue our work in the community.

Christine Barca

Christine Barca joins the Board with more than 30 years’ experience across the not-for-profit, health and community services sectors. As Chief Executive Officer of Quantin Binnah Community Centre, she has led significant growth and guided the organisation through complex challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic. 

A qualified social worker and family therapist, Christine is passionate about social justice, inclusion and strengthening communities. Her leadership is grounded in collaboration, equity and building programs that support long-term wellbeing and resilience.

Christine Barca

Sarah Green

Sarah Green is a partner at Character + Distinction, a Melbourne-based communications advisory. With more than 20 years’ experience across technology, healthcare and the workplace sector, she brings deep expertise in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement and public affairs. 

A Bayside local, Sarah was drawn to Family Life’s mission to support vulnerable families in the region. Her focus on building trust and meaningful connections will be a valuable addition to the Board.
