Community Together
Community Together is all about helping Hampton East and surrounds be a place where everyone feels connected, supported and able to thrive.
We know that when neighbours look out for one another, kids grow up safer and families feel more confident and supported. This project brings local people, community groups and services together to build those connections and make sure help is easy to find early.
What we’re working towards
- More chances for neighbours to meet, connect and support each other
- A community that feels confident helping families who might be doing it tough
- Less reliance on crisis services because people get the right help sooner
- A safer, more supportive environment for children
How we work
Family Life has been part of this local community for more than 50 years. We know the strengths, talents and challenges of this neighbourhood, and we believe the best solutions come from the community itself.
Through our Neighbourhood Development approach, we:
- Listen to what local residents are experiencing
- Build on the community’s existing strengths
- Connect people, groups and services so families feel supported and included

Community Cuppa!
Keith Street Community House is a safe space to talk, connect and feel supported. Drop in on Mondays from 11am-2pm and Thursdays 1pm-4pm for a cuppa and chat.
You’ll find us at 12 Keith Street, Hampton East. No bookings required, just pop on in.
