About the Role

Step into a space where style meets purpose. At Family Life Op Shops, we’re not your ordinary Opportunity Shop—we’re a vibrant part of the community, creating real social impact through every sale. As Store Manager you’ll lead a passionate team of staff and volunteers in a beautiful retail environment, helping customers discover treasures while supporting life-changing programs across Victoria.

We have two opportunities available: one in Bayside and one on the Mornington Peninsula. These roles can be full-time or part-time to suit your lifestyle, and require availability on weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

A Day in the Life

  • Lead your team to exceed sales targets while fostering a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
  • Inspire and develop your team to deliver exceptional customer service and community engagement.
  • Curate visually appealing displays that reflect the unique charm of our donated goods.
  • Manage stock flow and donations to maximise value and minimise waste.
  • Ensure the store is safe, welcoming, and aligned with Family Life’s values.
  • Create rosters that support team wellbeing and meet store needs.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous leadership experience in retail desirable.
  • A passion for community impact and sustainable fashion.
  • Strong customer service skills and a flair for visual merchandising.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and KPIs with positivity and purpose.
