Learn the basics of computing with our Computer Skills for Work course
If you’re not familiar with using a computer, applying for jobs and even starting new work can be tough. Computer literacy is no longer a bonus, it’s a requirement.
That’s why PeopleWorx has created a short course to teach you computer basics. From using a keyboard to knowing how to use different programs, this course aims to give you a solid foundation in using a PC.
Could this course benefit me?
All of our PeopleWorx programs are fully inclusive and open to anyone who is looking to learn skills important to work and further study. The Computer Skills for Work course is especially relevant to:
- People aged over 50
- People who haven’t had the chance to learn about using a computer
- People looking for a role in Business Administration
What will I learn?
As well as becoming more familiar with your computer and keyboard, you will also learn how to use programs like Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and specific tasks within these programs that are used commonly in many types of workplaces.
We will work through a textbook, which you will be able to keep and continue to refer to.
