Parenting anxious and sensitive children

Parenting an anxious or sensitive child can be a tricky balance to strike. Without lessening their empathy for other people and situations, it’s important to build their resilience and show them how to manage stress in a healthy way. Giving children the techniques to balance their emotions in tough times can set them up for a healthy response to stressful situations as a teenager and into adulthood.

Run by Family Life’s social enterprise, Heartlinks, our workshop for parents and caregivers of anxious and sensitive children  is a series of three sessions designed to teach you methods and tips for supporting your child, aged 4-11.
