“Recently, we were updating our wills and we chose to bequeath a portion of our estate to Family Life. It was a natural step for us as we have a strong appreciation of their care for our local community.

“We are lucky to have enjoyed good fortune in bayside. Over the last 20 years our children have thrived in this area and largely that’s thanks to those who care for the local community and making it such a special place for families to grow and flourish. So when it came to revising our wills we wanted to say thank you.

We had rung Family Life many years earlier in order to drop off a baby cot for their use. We were so impressed by the staff who expressed such enormous appreciation. They also knew exactly where that cot was going to go. They clearly cared. Later, in deciding to leave a bequest to Family Life, we were invited to meet the senior executive team. It was clear that warmth and ability permeated through the organisation. Glenn and I, supported by our children, are very grateful for the opportunity to give back to them in this fashion and our hope is that others will consider this simple step so Family Life can continue their outstanding work for a long time to come.”
