Amanda graduated from Leicester University in England with an Upper Second Class Law Degree in 2003. During her studies, Amanda developed a passion for community service and volunteered with Victim Support to support family violence survivors. She also worked with the local Domestic Violence Integrated Response Project to deliver respectful relationships programs in secondary schools across the County.
Since moving to Melbourne in 2004, Amanda has worked with Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman before reigniting her passion for social work. Since then, Amanda has held a variety of roles within State and Local Government and is currently seconded from the Department of Health and Human Services. Amanda has a strong background in Children Youth and Family Services ensuring that high performing, high quality services are delivered to the Victorian community. Amanda is excited to be working with Family Life, a leader in supporting children and families to thrive and grow in the South Eastern Melbourne community.
