Who is Heartlinks of Family Life
Heartlinks is a recently established social enterprise of Family Life, created as a multidisciplinary, fee for service practice, focused on providing wrap around support to families, couples and individuals in the Bayside and Mornington Peninsula areas. All profits from Heartlinks’ services are invested back into the provision of free programs and services to transform the lives of children, young people and families in our community.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for skilled, passionate individuals who embody the Family Life Way principles to deliver therapeutic support to children, primarily under the age of 12, but up to 18 who may have been impacted by COVID-19. Supporting these children to overcome any emerging mental health difficulties including; isolation, anxiety, relationship difficulties, or any other challenges that COVID-19 may have raised.

The contractor position
The Therapists roles are all contract positions, with access to both our Sandringham and Frankston consulting suites. Therapists will offer online and face to face therapeutic services to clients and may be required to facilitate group workshops and/or training sessions.
To promote accessibility, it is a requirement to be registered (or have capability to register prior to commencement) with the Better Access Scheme.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated therapist to work with Family Life, and be part of a new enterprise that will change the way Family Life supports communities.
Do you have experience working in a private practice setting? Have you facilitated group workshops? Are registered or do you have the capacity to register with Medicare? Do you enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team, and have a strong client centred approach to all you do? If so, we would love to hear from you!
