Family Life is looking for committed volunteers to work in our fantastic Opportunity Shops in Hampton, Cheltenham and Chelsea.
All money raised helps Family Life support vulnerable families, children and young people in our local community.

Cheltenham Opportunity Shop -316 Charman Road Cheltenham Victoria
An up-market Opportunity Shop that hosts our PeopleWorx program. The shop offers vulnerable people work experience, volunteering, personal support and community service opportunities. Program participants develop customer service skills and retail experience to assist them in their search for full-time employment. |

The shop is open Monday to Fridays 10am until 5pm and Saturdays 10am until 2pm. Adult volunteers are trained as Mentors to work alongside and support the participants. Other volunteers work in a retail capacity, helping with sorting, pricing and selling goods.
Hampton Opportunity Shop -355c Bluff Road, Hampton, Victoria
This Family Life Opportunity Shop opened in 1971, and has since provided material assistance to local families and funds for additional counselling and support services. The Opportunity Shop is open 10am until 4pm Monday to Friday and on Saturdays until 2pm.

Volunteers generally commit to a four hour shift once per week or fortnight. Duties include sorting clothes, pricing and displaying of stock, customer contact and sales. Opportunities for Duke of Edinburgh Community Service Award students can also be arranged.
Chelsea Opportunity Shop - 435 Nepean Highway Chelsea Victoria
This up-market Opportunity Shop hosts our PeopleWorx program, offering vulnerable people work experience, volunteering, personal support and community service opportunities.
