Family Life run a variety of support groups and programs for the community.
Programs are run at various sites from our three offices:

Chelsea
Coffee and Chat - starts 11 March 2010 (held at Edithvale Community House)
If you are a mum who is experiencing mental health issues with children in your care, you are invited to a coffee & chat group to expand your support networks and develop new friendships in a safe and informal environment.

Parenting Your Teenager - starts 4 May 2010
You are invited to participate in an education and support group where you can enhance your parenting skills and share experiences in a friendly and supportive environment.

Parenting After Separation - started 18 February 2010
A six week discussion group sharing creative, fun ways of raising healthy children after separation or divorce.

MATES - started 18 February 2010
Family Life’s MATES Program is a group for men who have been abusive, violent and controlling towards the people in their life. Participants talk, share information, and challenge and support each other to be better men, partners, and fathers.

B.E.A.D.S Connecting Women - started 18 February 2010 (held at Castlefield Community Centre)
Bayside Emotional and Depression Support group is for women who have experienced or who are experiencing Post Natal Depression. It will provide an opportunity for women to join together in a relaxed, friendly and supportive environment.

Making Choices - starts 5 May 2010
Making Choices is a group for women who are living in, or have lived in an abusive relationship. Women are helped to learn new behaviours which will assist them to
recognise healthy and unhealthy relationship patterns.
