Creating Capable Communities

Overview

The Creating Capable Communities (CCC) program is an outstanding example of how small things can gradually build to critical mass to make a huge difference to bring about social change.

Family Life Neighbourhood workers help families at three Community Houses' in Bayside and Kingston. They build social networks and connections to promote and create a community which is safe, healthy and supportive of parents and their children.

CCC has been funded by the Federal Department of Family and Community Services from 2001-2006. In June 2006 we reached the end of our funding but Creating Capable Communities continues.
