Empowering Family Dispute Resolution Training

Empowering Practitioners to Empower Clients

Are you a practitioner in the family services field?

Are you looking for new ways to further your skills in family dispute resolution and enhance your client mediation skills?

This training has been developed to support practitioners to deliver time-focused, quality Family Dispute Resolution. It provides participants with the skills and knowledge to empower change in high-conflict relationships, while always considering the best interests of the children. This model is utilised by Family Life's Frankston and Mornington Peninsula Family Relationship Centre.

In July 2010, a research partnership between Family Life and Professor Thea Brown from Monash University released findings on the outcomes of the Frankston Mornington Peninsula Family Relationship Centre. The research concluded that the Frankston Mornington Peninsula Family Relationship Centre is "more successful than most according to the achievement averages established by AIFS and other independent studies in relation to client satisfaction rates and dispute resolution outcomes."
